An essential concern
The Covid-19 pandemic completely changed our lifestyle habits, especially when talking about Biosafety. Here at Odonto Leipner we began changing since the beginning. Before authorities decreed a state of public calamity, our team had already started to adapt to the new reality, and we would like to share with you some of the measures we have taken to ensure patient safety within our premisses.
Air Sterilizer
COVID-19 is airborne, so our first attitude was to ensure efficient sterilization of the air we breathe during our appointments.
This device sterilizes the indoor air of “closed” environments through a forced air flow, which passes through a chamber irradiated with type C germicidal Ultraviolet light. It is efficient in preventing infections and contamination transmitted by microorganisms present in the air and transported by it, such as CoronaVirus and many others.
Body, clothes and shoes sterilization
The second link in our biosafety chain comes to complement the first. Even with sterile ambient air, our clothes, shoes and bodies can carry disease-causing microorganisms, such as COVID-19. All patients, professionals and caregivers undergo complete sterilization before entering our premisses.
Clinics sterilization through ultraviolet light
To complete our Biosafety strategy, we sterilize office surfaces using germicidal type C Ultraviolet Light, the same as that used in the sterilization of ambient air.
